Since 1979, Electronique Contrôle Mesure has been at
the service of highways operators around the world.
Electronique Contrôle Mesure was the first company to
open the way for modern counting technics by introducing the piezo-electric
sensors.
Since 1981, numerous applications have been developed: weigh-in-motion,
in-lane and toll plaza classification, etc. The distance covered
has been considerable.
A 40-strong team at E.C.M. (Nancy-France, Austin-Texas and Seoul-Korea) and some thirty people with our
partners and representatives working for Electronique Contrôle
Mesure throughout the world.

E.C.M. organisation is based on the ISO 9001-1994 standard in order to satisfy the ever increasing
quality requirements of its customers, and dedicates 15% of
its annual turnover to research and development.
E.C.M. is also a supplier to the French Navy (F8216) and has
outfitted more than twenty ships including the nuclear aircraft
carrier Charles de Gaulle and the latest generation of nuclear
submarines.

In the area of road traffic management, E.C.M. has taken part in numerous
international research programs (Drive, Wave, weigh-in-motion,
etc.) tests (I95, CMT-Cost 323 demonstrating that the Hestia
station has class B operation, etc.) and standardization projects
(NF, USA for ITS systems, Cost 323, etc.).
Electronique Controle Mesure is present throughout the world either directly or through
its network of representatives.
